About Me
Alison Jones is Instructional Services Librarian at Carson-Newman College.
She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Montreat College, and her Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Alison currently serves as Treasurer of the East Tennessee Library Association, Presentation Coordinator for the annual Association of Christian Librarians (ACL) conference, and as a member-at-large on the ACL Liberal Arts Section board.
Her research interests include the millennial generation and technology, spiritual memoirs, faculty-library collaboration, and the role of Madam Pince (the librarian) in the Harry Potter series.
In her spare time, Alison can be found performing in community theatre and music groups, reading YA fantasy novels, and watching entirely too much British television.
Only children of the 80s who watched Square One on PBS will get this...

a librarian can bring you back the right one."
